Japanese Hasegawa Corporation is a company that produces plastic model kits. Hasegawa mainly produces vehicles, including model aircraft, model cars, model ships, model armor, model spacecraft, and science fiction kits.
Hasegawa kits primarily use polystyrene and typically regarded as very precise. The only problem of Hasegawa kits are that they are not as easily assembled as their biggest competitor Tamia's kits.
Hasegawa and Revell also works closely. While Revell imports Hasegawa kits into European and North American markets, Hasegawa imports Revell to Japan. Each brand re-boxes each other's kits from time to time, to make it appealing to the market they are in.
